Team India may be out of Asia Cup! New rule increases difficulties, match will have to be played for 3 consecutive days

To ensure that the condition of the Asia Cup Super 4 match between India and Pakistan does not resemble a group match, the Asian Cricket Council had kept a reserve day. Due to rain, India could not play the entire group match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

Now this new rule of one reserve day of Asia Cup can only throw the Indian team out of the tournament. Team India was to play a match against Pakistan on 10 September, which will be played on Reserve Day on 11 September due to rain. Now after this the team has to play the host also.

The Indian team will play Asia Cup Super 4 matches on 10th September, 11th September and again on 12th September. First it will play a match against Pakistan for two days and then it will play a match against Sri Lanka. This means that India has to play matches not on one or two but on three consecutive days.

The players of Team India will not get a chance to rest at all. If the players of the team come out to play matches continuously then it is natural to get tired. This may affect his game. It may happen that India’s match against Pakistan gets washed out due to rain and points have to be distributed and then the match against Sri Lanka goes badly.

The Indian team will play against Bangladesh in the last Super 4 match of Asia Cup on 15th September. If the match between India and Pakistan gets washed out due to rain and points have to be distributed and the match between Sri Lanka gets spoiled, then the last Super 4 match will become important.
